DIAmond Advanced test

This is run by the DIA (Driving Instructors Association) one of the largest associations for driving instructors in the country.

You will normally need extra tuition to reach the required standard as the required pass mark to pass is high. You are only allowed 6 minor driving errors during this test.

DIAmond advanced tests are monitored by the Driving Standards Agency

ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents)

Advanced tests for cars, Motorbikes, LGV, Mini Buses.

If you pass you are awarded either a Gold, Bronze, or Silver grade.

ROSPA examiners all are Police Advanced drivers / instructors

ROSPA advanced tests are monitored by the Driving Standards Agency.

IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists)

The IAM has over 200 groups around the country. It's advanced test lasts 1.5 hours and covers about 40 miles of various road conditions.
